Thai Mathematics Students Need Your Help!

The Thai-Canadian Alumni Association and the Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) are once again bringing three Canadian mathematics competitions to Thailand for the benefit & enrichment of Thai students.

💡 The Canada Lynx Mathematical Competition takes place in September and is for students from Kindergarten to grade 12.

💡 The Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge takes place in October and is for students from grade 7 to grade 12.

💡 The Canada Jay Mathematical Competition takes place in November and is for students from Kindergarten to grade 8.

This initiative to make these three competitions available for Thai students was launched in 2020 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Canada. These tests offer Thai students the opportunity to assess & improve their own ability as well as to exhibit their potential at an international level, which will be especially helpful for those Thai students who wish to further their education in Canada. The Thai-Canadian Alumni Association is seeking support to help fund the costs of bringing these opportunities to Thai students.
