BACKGROUND

 

Amélie is an independent consultant providing services in strategic business growth, human rights and organizational analysis. Prior to joining the Thomson Reuters Foundation as Legal Programme Manager, Asia Pacific, she co-founded Moto Energy Solutions (MES), a social enterprise based in Rwanda, that aimed to provide access to connectivity. After MES’ merger with East African Power (EAP), a clean energy developer, she remains Advisor to the Executive Committee. 

 

Amélie is passionate about bridging the gap between people in need with those who can help. Having been based between Hong Kong, Bangkok and Kigali from 2017-2020, she is proud to dedicate her time towards driving social change through economic development and sustainable growth projects in APAC and in East Africa. She has an LLB. from Laval University and an LLM. in International Law from the Universite de Montreal that she finished in Beijing, China.
