About the Event

From essential necessities such as hospitals and power facilities that reduce poverty, to world-class airports and road networks that facilitate global connectivity, infrastructure forms the foundation of all human activity. According to the ADB, Southeast Asia’s annual infrastructure gap was estimated to be USD1.7 trillion, even before the COVID-19 pandemic. In order for ASEAN economies to recover from the economic downturn and generate long-term growth and resiliency, building partnerships to facilitate sustainable infrastructure development is essential.

Join the CABC and our partners to find out why Canada is well positioned to play an important role helping the ASEAN region close its infrastructure gap. This event is part of the Canada-ASEAN Business Leaders Series 2021 organized by the CABC in partnership with the Government of Canada.

Objectives

  • Engage ASEAN governments and stakeholders on the value that Team Canada has to offer for ASEAN’s infrastructure development
  • Discuss infrastructure opportunities in ASEAN for Canadian businesses and investors
  • Learn from successful Canadian companies/organisations operating in the infrastructure sectors of the region
  • Networking opportunities for the Canada-ASEAN business community
