Dear CanCham Thailand members and friends,

I would like to express my sincere thanks to our outgoing President, Dean Outerson, for his leadership and dedication over the past three years. During Dean’s tenure, CanCham strengthened its role as a trusted platform for Canadian businesses and professionals in Thailand.

 

His steady guidance helped expand our community and reinforce the values that make our chamber distinctive: collaboration, credibility, and practical support for our members.

My intention is to build on that foundation. No chamber succeeds through one individual alone. It suc­ceeds through the collective effort of its board, its committees, and its members.

 

I am fortunate to be working alongside an exceptional group of directors and volunteers whose commitment ensures that CanCham remains active, relevant, and forward-looking.

In the months ahead, our focus will be to amplify the voices of our members. Canadian and Canadi­an-connected businesses operating in Thailand have remarkable stories to tell, stories of innovation, resilience, and partnership. CanCham should be the platform that helps those stories travel further.

Our role is to strengthen bridges between Canada and Thailand, between established firms and emerging entrepreneurs, and among the diverse professionals who make up our community here.

These are serious times in the global economy. And serious times call for serious connections. This is the role CanCham will continue to play.
