Dear CanCham Thailand members and friends,

It is my great pleasure to present the 2023 CanCham Annual Resource and Membership Directory. I would like to thank the CanCham staff and our editorial team, Scott Murray and the ScandMedia team, for their tremendous efforts in producing this Directory.

​

As we embark on another exciting year, I am delighted to have the opportunity to work alongside such a talented and dedicated group of individuals.

First and foremost, I would like to thank Am- bassador Dr. Sarah Taylor for her steadfast support of the chamber during her tenure here in Thailand. Ambassador Taylor’s tire- less efforts, diplomatic expertise, and com- mitment to fostering bilateral relations have been instrumental in strengthening economic ties and creating a favorable environment for trade and investment between our two na- tions. She has been a strong advocate for canada, and canadian citizens, businesses, and values since she arrived in the Kingdom. We wish her all the best in her next posting.

Counsellor (Commercial) and Senior Trade commissioner Sanjeev chowdhury, Second Secretary (Commercial), Vice-Consul and trade commissioner christophe rouleau, and the entire embassy team have also provided unwavering support to the chamber, for which we will be eternally grateful. I look forward to working closely with Sanjeev, christophe, and the embassy team throughout the upcoming year.

I would like to thank my predecessor, Derek van Pelt, for his outstanding leadership and dedication in guiding our chamber over the past three tumultuous and challenging years. Under his stewardship, CanCham has achieved significant milestones, fostered strong business relationships, and played a vital role in promoting bilateral trade between Thailand and Canada.

I am also honored and thankful to work with our strong board of Directors and dedicated Advisors, whose individual profiles appear later in this publication. During our recent annual planning meeting, i was genuinely inspired by your ideas and commitment to the chamber, and i look forward to an exciting and innovative year.

We have had some changes to the cancham office team this past year – our sincere thanks to Jen Meckhayai for all of his efforts as our Executive Director over the past several years. Thank you to Varindhorn (Fin) Kasiraksa, our Marketing & Project coordinator, who managed our marketing efforts so well. And finally, thank you to Naphatsorn (Bell) Kijmongkoltham, our Events & Marketing coordinator, who has helped make all our events successful. We wish all of you great success in your future endeavours.
