Step back in time to the roaring ’20s and celebrate the Canadian Thanksgiving season in style at CanCham’s 2025 Maple Leaf Ball Gala Dinner!

On October 4th, we’re transforming the Dusit Thani Bangkok ballroom into an old-style Speakeasy, 1920s style!. We’re throwing back 100 years to the prohibition era, when moonshiners and bootleggers battled the coppers to deliver beer and whiskey to a network of speakeasies tucked-away behind hidden doors in back-alleys.

The night gets underway with a pre-dinner cocktail reception, after which you will be treated to a delicious three-course meal served up by one of the finest kitchens in Bangkok:

FIRST COURSE

• Cream of Japanese Kabocha Pumpkin Soup served with Parmesan Crostini

MAIN COURSE (please select one option)

Beef

• Grain-fed Striploin with Green Peppercorn Sauce, Potato Cream, and Maple-Glazed Roast Carrots

Fish

• Pan-Grilled Barramundi with Yuzu Cream Sauce, Celeriac Mashed Potato, and Sautéed Green Beans with Toasted Almonds

Vegetarian (V)

• Baked Vegetable Wellington (potato, mushroom, spinach) with Roasted Tomato Sauce, Vine-Ripened Cherry Tomatoes, and Heirloom Broccoli

DESSERT

• Floating Island – Steamed Meringue with Vanilla Sauce and Caramelized Almonds

After dinner, the rest of the an evening is filled with great dance beats from our live band, the Grumps, and our DJ, DJ Kriszd. The Grumps are an all-girl

band formed in 2016 and crowned champions of “Girls Rock Asia”, They have lit up some of Thailand’s most iconic venues, including Titanium, where they were the house band.
