Michael B. Currie

BACKGROUND​

Michael B. Currie is a Canadian entrepreneur and software developer based in Bangkok, with over fifteen years of experience building AI, data, and software systems across finance, logistics, and research.

He has founded and operated venture-backed technology companies spanning software, AI, drones, and enterprise data platforms across Southeast Asia. He previously served as Executive Director of OpenWorm, a Google-backed academic AI research initiative, and as a guest lecturer in business at Thammasat University.

Michael holds a BMath in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Waterloo and the CFA charter. He served as a director of the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce from 2020 to 2025.
