This seminar will include application of Biotechnology in Cleaning to perform Green Cleaning. The main highlight of this event is the MOU Signing ceremony between Peerapat Technology PLC. and InnuScience Canada and end the night with CanCham's networking.

PART I: “BIOTECHNOLOGY in GREEN CLEANING” Seminar

Thailand’s Government and Community are moving to Green Society with the BCG model. Green Concepts are applied in all areas including Hospitality and Tourism. Cleaning is one of the main tasks in Hospitality. Biotechnology Cleaning is Enzymes or Microorganisms based and Efficient Green Cleaning Technology. The overall seminar concept will engage the audience with the application of Biotechnology in Cleaning to perform Green Cleaning. We will have 3 speakers in the Seminar and 1 moderator will support our speakers to achieve our seminar objectives. Our objectives are described below;

  • To deliver knowledge of Biotechnology in Green Cleaning.

  • To publish Peerapat’s involvement in Thailand’s BCG movement with InnuScience


SPEAKERS


1. Associate Professor Dr. Thunyarat Pongtharangkul, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University

  • Holding Ph.D. in (Agricultural and Biological Engineering) form The Pennsylvania State University, USA and currently working as Associate Professor in Department of Biotechnology in Mahidol University, Thailand. Professor has expertise in Development of whole-cell biocatalysts for production of bio-based chemicals (e.g. epoxides, vanillin), Production of value-added products via fermentation (e.g. bacteriocin, CRM197), Aqueous/Organic (Biphasic) bioconversion, Bioremediation of toxic chemicals (e.g. BTEX, PAHs).

2. Mr. Thomas Grimm, Business Development Agent – ASEAN Green Footprint

  • Tom has more than 35 years of sales and marketing experience in earth friendly products and technologies, including energy efficient lighting, building energy management systems, solar energy, biotechnology cleaners and water sanitizing. He holds a BS and MS in Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University in the US. For the last seven years Tom’s focus has been to promote safe alternatives to toxic chemical cleaning practices in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Through his Bangkok based company, Green Footprint Solutions Ltd, he introduced InnuScience biotechnology cleaning products to Thailand in 2013.In his current role, Tom will provide consulting and business development support for companies in the green technology space.

3. Mr. Suebpong Ketnute, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Peerapat Technology PLC.

  • Holding Master of Business Administration (X – MBA), Thammasat University, 1988 and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering Chulalongkorn University, 1976. K’Suebpong accomplished Applied International Management (AIM) in Sweden with the scholarship from the Royal Thai Embassy in 1993. K’Suebpong is the founder and Chairman of Executive Committee, Peerapat Technology Public Company Limited and directors of 4 affiliated companies. He Developed and built more than 25 "entrepreneurs' ' from employees to "owners" in 30 years. Moreover, He is well serving social communities as; Honorary director, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University 2003 - 2019, Director, Phetchaburi Provincial Federation of Industries 2003 – 2022, Director, The Federation of Thai Industries, term 2010 - 2022, Director, Human Empowerment Division, Cooperative Education respectively.




PART II: MOU Signing Ceremony


The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony between Peerapat Technology PCL. and InnuScience Canada will be represented by their founders, Mr. Suebpong Ketnute and Mr. Steve Teasdale, respectively. The process will be witnessed by H.E. Dr. Sarah Taylor, Canadian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand.


The signing of the MOU will underscore the importance of the Green Society and BCG Model and the shared efforts between Thai and Canadian companies to advance toward biotechnology in cleaning. Also, reaffirms the long-standing partnership between the two companies. The MOU will leverage each comparative advantage to support high-quality and sustainable developments in partner countries.



PART III: Networking Dinner


The Networking Dinner is hosted to celebrate the partnership between Peerapat Technology PCL. and InnuScience Canada, as well as the Canada-Thailand Relations.
