Co-op is a world-leading academic work-integrated-learning model that combines paid, relevant  work experience with academic terms, giving our students real-world application and  experience of theoretical knowledge of their degree. By alternating between four- or eight month work terms and academic terms, our students graduate with up to 2 years of work  experience. With over 120 programs and 26,000 students enrolled in our co-op programs  across six facilities (Arts, Engineering, Environment, Health, Mathematics, Science) top  young talent at Waterloo are eager to gain international experience support your organization’s  growth on an international co-op work-term.  

Waterloo students are available year-round for 4-month or 8-month work-terms. • May- August (Spring term) 

• September- December (Fall term) 

• January – April (Winter term) 

Students are available with strong backgrounds and work experience in: Engineering (including Bioengineering and Nanotechnology), AI, Computer Science, Business, Entrepreneurship, Green  Tech, Data Science, Finance and more.
